The sky is falling ! The sky is falling ! Run for your life...... good video ! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Ink....that was hilarious!!! But so true!

A bunch of us caravaned (4 vehicles) to Puerto Lobos from Rockly Point this past weekend. We went thru the old checkpoint at the 40 km mark (weren't stopped)....then drove the rest of the 125 miles to Puerto Lobos. We drove around the village a bit...met an American woman with her son flying one of those stunt kites on the beach (both were wearing bullet proof vests), and another Forum member (asprinkles). We dodged I don't how many bullets from the narcos (you should see one of the vehicles)....LOL. On the way back, went thru a roadblock of police probably checking for guns, etc....again no problem. Arrived back with just 1 wounded Forum member....probably from having to change his tire when he got a flat (sorry Chuck)!!!

Sorry if my attempt at satire doesn't approach the level of some of the other forum memebers!!!

So true...we returned from a week at Santo Tomas and ran into the big Navy roadblock just past the Mayan palace.Very professional but they searched the crap out of us. Funny thing was the PEI had their own block up a few miles before town.it makes you wonder why.Their block on a crest of a hill gave someone a chance to take the turn by the railroad tracks and head back to town thus avoiding the Navy....or maybe it was inter agency politics...
I'm starting to see people that have avoided coming down since Tubutama having fun at the beach again.
