Was just over on the website and it is down. There is a page up with the domain name for sale. Looks like we might lose this forum, too.

Stu, Tyler, any info?

Rockypointtalk.com is a different domain and not connected to this site that I know of. Whoever owns that domain name is trying to sell it. Fairly common practice called "squatting." People will buy a bunch of domain names and sit on them, hoping that a corporation comes along and wants to buy them. A company I know just went through this - they had to settle for the .net domain name because the owner of the .com domain name was missing in action, then when he was finally contacted, wanted an outrageous price for the .com name.

The "old" forum, rockypointonline.com, is still operational with the new owners, last time I checked.

Oh, I thought this forum was under that site. I thought that's what someone said when we lost the old forum and Tyler put this one up. Thanks for the info.

hi are you going to sell the domain then how much is your domain worth? to get the
value you must appraise the domain .you can get the appraisal value of your domain
name from here zippozap here they appraise the domain at free of cost.

I just looked at the other Rockypointtalk.com err I mean Rockypointonline.com and Tyler, I hope you either shut it down or clear it out and start it up again. Another example of dead air on the internet. Old, outdated information, ads for restaurants that are closed, etc. It makes Penasco look bad, IMHO.
