Rocky Point Ramblings 1 year anniversary!

So the local radio show Rocky Point Ramblings which airs every Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 has reached its one year anniversary!

As the only all English programming in the State as far as we know it has been very popular among the locals (106.1 fm) as well as listeners from all over the place. We even have listeners checking in from Nova Scotia! They all listen in via our live stream which works most of the time.........Radio Player 106.1 We have regulars checking in from many States in the USA as well as our loyal listeners in Canada (who get really mad when the LIVE stream fails)

Next weekend during the biker rally (November 12th) we will be celebrating this milestone by doing a 2 hour LIVE remote from the Malecon. Along with us will be the Barrel Cantina (Bryans Sport Bar) serving up shots of Tequila and the local Bomberos (firefighters) serving up their version of Bloody Marys.

We are raising funds for the local firefighters at this time as well. If you want to stop by and make a donation please do so. At the same time have a drink on Rosie and Russ!

Congratulations Russ. I remember the first show where you were "just sitting in" for the other guy- who knew it would be a one year "temporary" job. You and Rosy do a great job in educating everyone in Penasco, and those listening on the web, to what is happening in the city. Thanks to both of you, and keep up the good work, even if some people think you're cheerleaders, we appreciate the information!
