Rocky Point Rally Numbers!!!

The question I have is what was the mix of US versus Mexican bikers??? From the pics and videos I saw, there appeared to be about an equal number.....

And did anyone see any of the "clubs" that were not wanted....Mongols/Vados/etc.???

I'm not a huge fan of motorcycles, but Penasco Old Port looks FANTASTIC!! All the hard work they did really made it seem like a Mexican village. Thanks for the great picture.

I would have to imagine that many were nationals. I hit the border early on Sunday AM to avoid a backup, but a friend went through at 3PM in the afternoon and she said no traffic at all.

No traffic at 4:00 pm on Sunday either, but the BP agent said they were expecting a rush as they keep track of the number of cars/motorcycles going down vs. what had come up, and he said they were way behind. So he thought they would be coming back later Sunday or Monday.

we left RP at around noon on Sunday, it was raining on and off lightly, there was a wait of about 30 to 45 minutes, of course no wait for us it took us 7 minutes total to cross the line at the time we were at the booth a group of about 50 or more bikers come by, special lane for them!!
I was told that they were expecting a third of the bunch to be from US and it seems that was the way as you were walking down the fish market!!
Perro was nice to meet you, now if I can just make you stop using the stupid translators from the internet!!!! we went for dessert and you disappear!!!

According to my sources in Penasco, the final count is over 4 thousand bikers or visitors.
4000 visitors, the report was they spent $500,000.00 dollars, the 3 days they were here. BFD. Where do they stay, eat and drink. Thats $125.00 dollars each for 3 days, thats almost as bad as Semana Santa this year 100,000 visitors reportedly spent $4,000,000.00 or $40.00 dllrs each for almost a full week here. That takes cheap to a new level.
