friday morning we left out of safe marina to no wind and smooth seas. scott and i caught 8 white sea bass. and a couple of gold spots and triggers. white sea bass were from 20 to 35lbs. when we arrived back at the marina a boat named sea ya came in. they thought they had brought back a small black. scott and i looked at it and were stunded to see that it was the largest pinto we ever saw. out of curiosity i wanted to know w its weight. so i grabbed the scale. and it was 50lbs. art pina scott and i were amazed of the size of this fish. art and shawno also caught a few white sea bass also. the wind picked up that nite and seas were rough saturday morning. so fishing was really not an option. so the boat got a good well deserved cleaning. another great weekend in pp.

Glad you guy's made it out Friday

OH NO! That was my fish! I've been looking for that Pinto for some time now, ask Ric. We should have been out there Friday, but circumstances changed this years (the day ofter) annual trip.
Back in the fifty's when I was a kid, my family used to bring in some huge Pinto's. The reason being, like Blacks, they like cut bait, and that's what was fished with in most case's back then. I've been wanting to catch one like that for some time now. Oh well, there must be a bigger one waiting for me.
Glad you guy's made it out Friday. That's been a good day for the past 4 years, and the fishing has always been great.
