Puerto Penasco to Tucson

Hi everyone, I am new here so I hope you all will be patient with me.

I need to get peoples suggestions about something:

My partner and I are American citizens - retirees -- and we lived in Mexico for 1.5 years --planning to retire there -- but had to leave due to health reasons. :-( You guessed it - its a long story. The thing is that when we left we had to leave some of our stuff behind. And there it sits - in storage in Puerto Penasco. Its not a lot of stuff (2 minivans full) but we are perplexed about how to get it up here to Tucson.

Sure we can make the drive down. fill up the SUV and drive back to Tucson. But the long drive, packing, unpacking, heat and stress is not something we wish to do again. :desert:
We've done this once and it was exhausting (we're getting a little old for this). We don't want to hire an "Official" US moving company (too costly $$$$), and AZ rental Vans are too small to bring it back in one load.

Can anyone suggest a workaround. We need our stuff - its nothing fancy, but we can't easily or cheaply replace it.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Lovin it in RP!
If its on the up and up I would be happy to try to assist, I have a trip to Tucson in a couple of weeks after a trip to FLA if I can help I will. Gas money and some labor time is all!

My husband can do this too. We do this as a side job all the time. We live in Penasco and Russ knows us too. Actually, Jason is moving some people today from Cholla to the Phoenix area. If you want to contact us here is my email. [email protected]
