Where exactly are you talking about in the Mirador area? Sorry, not familiar with the old University project. Is this just before it turns into Las Conchas? Or closer to Whale Hill? In front of what used to be an RV park?

Yes, I got a similar translation earlier, but where exactly is this supposed to be in Mirador? I see ocean-front rocks in the illustration, which makes me to believe it's not as far down as Las Conchas. Ooooh, is it right behind the private school just before the gate into Las Conchas? (Looking at possible spots via Google Earth, at this point.)

It's probably the area past what used to be Playa Elegante and the few houses that are down there.....before you get to the aquarium (Cet Mar).....

Is this a move to keep the locals off Sandy Beach and condo row????

you got it Joe, it is the area between the last buildings, two story condos located in the most eastern end of Mirador beach, and Cet-Mar, the area in questions includes the old building that seem abandoned. Hopefully this project will get the go ahead soon!

The empty stretch of beach between the two. Looks like a prime destination for quads![/QUOTE]

Por Favor, NO Quads ! Too close to my house. They play in ther a bit already.

Hah! No, I was thinking more of using the quad to get to that secluded spot, umbrella, cooler and all. I guess that would be a waste of my rental fee, but that's how I roll!

it is a play ground for quads and utv and every now and then the typical idiot that thinks his mini van can play in the sand too!! saw 2 within a week getting stuck there!! one american and one mexican, of course both from out of town and probably never played in the sand before possibly rednecks, it is a very nice and quiet place if you want to get away from all the other tourists in Mirador!!
