Just randomly ran into a friend of mine who used to be a concert promoter in Tucson and she said the show was fun, the musicians were top-notch and, though a local promoter boasted 1000 tickets sold, she could only confirm about 500-plus in attendance. She wanted to qualify this quote with the caveat that she was up in the VIP section facing the stage and the lights and couldn't get a good count, though normally a crowd-count is second-nature to her.

Anyone out there who attended the show want to chime in with pics and/or observations?

Also, it seems there will be more similar concerts upcoming in Penasco, every few months or so. Great news all around!

I'd guestimate somewhere between 500-1000. There were people still arriving at about 8:30....the "local" groups played til about 7:30-8:00, with a break for some presentations. I'd guess that there were more in the regular admission area than in the VIP section.There were probably another 50-100 parked outside and watching from trucks, etc. over the "fence".
