Seems like there was already a post about this, but I searched and couldn’t find it. I ran across a special documentary series about oceans on the Discovery Channel’s program Planet Green. The series is titled Oceans Blue. It includes six separate hour-long episodes about oceans and ocean life. Episode one is titled The Sea of Cortez. It is about a group of marine biologists cruising around the Sea of Cortez studying how man’s influence is affecting our sea. Lots of interesting stuff about problems affecting the local sea life, over-fishing techniques, responsible fishing practices, etc. Most of it really hits home. It was on Direct TV on channel 286. Looks like it is being shown frequently.
