New Live Weather Station for Puerto Peñasco!
Sonoran Resorts are building a live weather station at their Sonoran Sky Resort location on Sandy Beach in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico.
The station will provide real time statistics including temperature, wind speed and direction, humidity, rainfall, barometric pressure, UV information, tide levels, sunrise and sunset times. The group expects to receive official Weather Service sanctioning and status for this complete weather monitoring system.
The Sonoran Sky Resort has operated a LiveView Webcam for some time now (www.sonoranresorts.mx/live/ ) with several thousand loyal viewers. The weather station will be a welcome new addition to that system.
“It’s about time a reliable resource for weather conditions in this beautiful resort community comes to fruition to serve its many visitors, and we decided to be the ones to make it happen”, said Jim Ringquist, Director of Sales for the Sonoran Resorts Sales Group.
According to Jim, the station is expected to be in operation and available on the www.sonoranresorts.mx website by early January.
