This is a first as far as I can recall. Common in disputed areas. Spill over from the continuing problems in Sonoyta. Similar messages posed in both Hermosillo and Penasco. Both blame the local governments for supporting one group over another. Mayor of Sonoyta tells citizens to stay inside their homes.

The soldiers ripped this one in Penasco down very quickly. This has to do with the recent assassination here in Penasco and is a very stern warning.
Also this doesn't effect tourism in any way, shape or form. Thanks for posting this Roberto, my wife told me when it was put up and it was all over Penascos facebook but came down so quickly I never saw it

prices have not come back to close of prebubble era.A friend that paid 485 for her Sandy Beach Pigeon Coop thinks she would get 330k if lucky.Will the homeport raise or lower values? I'm definitely happy that tourism is at an all time high. In fact I just brought down a large group, most of whom hadn't been in a long time. They asked about going to Manny's, so that tells you how long. Trust me I'm a huge booster and am the first to roll my eyes when people tell me I'm crazy for going to PP.

Additionally, the operation at Bella isn't necessarily the type of thing that I'm concerned about (although the execution and placement was awful). Roberto's post is much more concerning. If Penasco becomes a disputed area between cartels, then I think a lot of people would reconsider visiting, myself included. A quick look at the type of brutality that these narco a-holes carry out when battling for turf would dissuade even the biggest boosters from visiting. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.

I see why you get so pissed Russ, I was very careful to say that this has nothing to do with tourism but someone always has to sound off negatively. eo much shit happens in Mesa that my wife wants to move back home. She spends most of the year down there as it is.
