moving to Puerto penasco

So call me crazy- I have been coming down to RP for over a year now --and am considering moving down for a year--I just don't know where to move-- what are my options? I am looking for cheap - safe and secure-- but not against living in town -- and would almost rather as I am looking to polish my Spanish - but don't think that will be possible living in a beach side community-- I have the ability to work for a couple months and then stay for a few months at a time--- my wife and other family would be coming with me--- soooo any one have any serious options? Im currently in phoenix .....

To find a place to live you have to come and look. There is no easy way to find a place to rent.

Add to Robertos advice, come down and spend a few weeks......dont jump at the first thing that comes along. talk to locals (gringos, or nationals) and see what they think where you should be given your circumstances. Everyone is different, everyone needs something else that someone else may not need. My wife and I live in a typical hood on a dirt street and we love it and we love our neighbors. Some do not prefer to live like this and others - like my friends who just bought a place here "get it" give it time, enjoy the ride and don't stress over it. This is a fantastic community.

Thanks for the info guys-- We don't have any issues - living just like that( on a dirt road in the middle of town) -- but do want to maintain safety-- I guess my question is better poseis are there any don'ts now that you have been there for a while--?

Just the same ones you have everywhere. Adjust to the local conditions and you will do fine.
