The fourth generation Monarch is born in September and October and goes through exactly the same process as the first, second and third generations except for one part. The fourth generation of monarch butterflies does not die after two to six weeks. Interesting, thanks for sharing the links. I was trying to do some research the other day to try to find out when the Monarch's go through RP. I'm assuming they go back through RP in the spring....what month would that be?

We were in Playa Encanto the weekend of October 15th and they were everywhere! I've never seen so many butterflys - definitely beats the mosquitos that were there a few weeks earlier!
