For those of you considering whether to come down or not - the weather is perfect this morning. Calm sea, blue sky, warm - the type of day you want to wrap your arms around.
Sitting on the terrace sipping tea this morning while our El Gato watched a little fishing boat anchored right off shore, was perfect. Looks like it will be a fantastic beach day - or a day for roaming around town. Do need to find some scallops.
Looking at Bird Island in the distance. Haven't seen a dolphin yet, but looking.
I was one of those jet skier's and it was one of the most awesome things I've ever experienced!!! Glad to hear the weather is nice....we're headed that way in a couple of weeks!!!
Our son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter & grandson are headed down today (Friday) - grandson graduated yesterday from ASU (he put himself through school playing poker - plays a lot of charity tournaments and they love him as he usually brings in a lot of money for them) - anyway, did you rent your jet skiis? If so where and how much did they cost? I'm guessing the kids would love to go jet skiing. No such thing when son was growing up - but then if they had he and his sibs probably would have been headed to Baja or Bird Island!!!! They would get up at dawn and it was hard to catch up with them (unless I sent out word - in those days Penasco was really small and everyone sort of knew everyone - and almost no cars on the road - just water trucks).
Also sure they will want to go ATVing and/or dune buggy riding - any hints on prices appreciated.
