Thanks for the tip, but a full curriculum school is required, not just language. I'll check wit her, she might have an idea. I have found out that the private school situated off Fremont behind Brian's Sportsbar is a possibility.
Has the person looking for english instruction looked into home schooling. I know a couple people that used to live in Penasco full time did that. With high speed internet available....that is a good option.
A little off topic...but I heard that the public high schools in Penasco are not free....the kids have to pay something like tuition. Is this true????
The school behind Bryans is CIMA. My 2 boys go there. It is a very good school that teaches in both Spanish and English (mostly Spanish). My kids were bilingual when they started there but some of thier friends came in with only English and have learned Spanish quickly. It is a private school and it's around $240 USD per month per kid.
There are several good options. My former assistant Gina Jeffery has researched them all, as her son is 6 and needs bilingual curriculum. email her at [email protected] she'll be glad to help.
