what kind of license do i need to fish from shore or from my kayak? how much does it cost? where do i get it?

No license is necessary from shore, and I've never heard of anyone ever being asked for one while fishing from a Kayak, or any kind of flotation device close to shore.

Yeah, you won't need it, but if you want to be strictly legal when fishing from the kayak, you can get one here: http://www.conapescasandiego.org
Takes a couple days and costs about $28 for a week license.

So I'm going down next weekend. And planning to fish. So I shouldn't have to buy a license? If so that's great cause I just bought one for the states and wasn't planning on even worrying about it. lol
