Late July Weather and Water

So a friend asked me how the weather and water are in late July. I've never been past the first week of July, but I have been over Labor Day weekend (late August/early September).

Is the heat and humidity as brutal in late July as it is in late August? Are there tons of jellyfish in the water during late July?

Pretty darn close to August/Sept. weather, hot with high humidity, ok in the shade if the wind is blowing more than 10mph. If the wind dies it gets brutal.
Often will in late summer.
Water is in the process of turning into bath water. But then again some people like it like this.
Not me.
Don't know about the jelliyfish.
Added note, at 10:30 tonight (July 9th) it is 88 degrees with 78% humidity, get ready for some 75-85 degree dewpoints, anything above 65 gets tough to deal with.
