Las Palomas--Need comments from anyone who lives there

Hey guys

When we rented a house here and not having access to a pool was tough and even in renting a short time, this beautiful house still had a ton of little repairs and solid maintenance after every storm, which I dont want. We are considering some places in Las Palomas. This property seems to have the best square footage for the price and I need 3 bedrooms and need a pool. We are pool junkies in the summer. This place seems to strike a cord with forum members. I do not plan to rent out. We are a family of 3 with a well mannered pet. I will be spending the majority of the year here.

Cruising through the forum the complaints were initially about the HOA (which is rumored to be semi-fixed) and then issue are money when renting out via in house management company (which will not be necessary for me-have a thing about others in my bed)

Should I look elsewhere or is this place, even though unfinished, still have some niceness and value???

Thx

Good advice. We are going to rent different places to see what is the best fit for our family. So far have stayed at S Spa, LP, LasPalmas,Some homes. Also our trailer in Playa de Oro. Just being near the water is ok with me

LP looking good now, most owners getting close to even. Still dont trust all the TC & SC, especially that Barb person who gives bad name to " teachers".
