Sprinkles yesterday and today. Just enough to put spots on your vehicle and keep th dust down a bit. Nice to have some clouds for a change but the humidity is a tad up there.

Old Port FULL of people yesterday. Mary's was packed. Lots of shoppers in the streets too. I have spotted several large tour busses parked around town. Playa Inn appeared full last week.

I have nothing current. If it is raining there will be water running on both sides of the border.

It looks like Penasco is getting a good storm Sunday at 6PM. Temp is only 78, pretty nice for late July. Hope it gets some good rain and keeps it cooler for a day or so.
When I see the dew point at 80 (yuk) there, it makes me only want to go to San Diego.

Rain last night the kind a gardener loves. Slow drizzle all night. Cool this morning early. Light clouds today.

bring a inner tube with you, when the bridge floods over you can go tubing down the river while you wait for the water to go down.

Any word about road closure I was going to head down later today from glendale , it looks like lukeville could be stormy ???

I have not talked to anyone who drove down today so I have nothing concrete to say. As above, I can see a heavy cloud cover up that way from here in Penasco. I would be prepared and careful if driving down. Those washes up in AZ can rage in minutes after a storm.

road was clear and free of water all the way to Tucson! they changed the pipes, at the Sonoyta detour pass, for higher flow and is working beautifully, specially after rains on Saturday and all day Sunday!!

REGARDING the DETOUR at the LUKEVILLE BORDER:

PER SANDRA O' HARE of the "ROCKY POINT TIMES NEWSPAPER"....

LUKEVILLE PORT OF ENTRY: (520) 387-5671

Since the large new drain/flow pipes have been installed, there seems to have been NO PROBLEMS WITH THE WASH/BRIDGE. Above Per Sandra O'Hare
