Received this and it looks like a great way to spend a Wednesday night.
Looks like exhibit inauguration will be off the ground tomorrow night (Wednesday, 29 Feb.) at the Penasco del Sol in conjunction with a piano recital by German Esquer Delgado.
The recital starts at 8pm in the Gran Salon Penasco where we had the governors' dinner and the exhibit will be outside in the lobby. I believe there is a $100 peso charge that will go for a cause.
The exhibit is:
International Photography Festival of Alamos
"Mines, Miners and their Comminities 2011"
50 photographs of the mines and communities of northwestern Mexico and the southwestern United States by 16 photographers from both sides of the border. The exhibit starts in Alamos every other year and travels throughout the states of Sonora and Arizona. The festival is sponsored by the Sonoran Cultural Institute and the Az Son Commission.
The recital is:
German Esquer playing Chopin, Beethoven and Rachmaninoff
Jass ensamble with German Esquer Delgado
Piano/violin duet with German Esquer Delgado
