Hector, aka HAPPY, I could give a rats a** what you like or think!I don't mean to spoil your pain, but I prefer the winged sprints, I think they are faster cars, and look a lot cooler,
I've never been to Casa Granda, but I hear it's a racy joint.Real sprint cars don't have wings...
I'm sure that was modifieds and stock car stuff, the track should be much better for the open wheel show. Thanks Kenny. My brother was there in November and said it was a dust bowl. Other than that, sounds like good fun.
I haven't read it, but I have looked through it. Windy was showing up with his books for a year or two after Manzy closed with a table set up with his books and all.Kenny, not sure if I asked you before but did you read the book Windy done on Thunder in the Desert from 2004? 360 pages of history of Manzy on a hard back. Only 500 were made and he went by mom's after dad had passed away and gave her a copy in my name. 1909 - 1980 is what he wrote on racing in Arizona.
Had a great time at the track at Casa Grande. The track was pretty good & the dust wasn't bad. My daughter came along and enjoyed herself. The racing was exciting and everybody there seemed to have a lot of fun. Here's the results of the feature.I've never been to Casa Granda, but I hear it's a racy joint.
