Amazing! I just received a $1450 bill as a co-pay(!) from my insurance is N Cal. (Kaiser). I was shocked, but my fault for not reading the fine print when I changed my plan to have a smaller monthly premium. I go to the doctor once and year and was paying over $400 (the new plan) per month. It's just insane. Altho I'm waiting to see how the Afforable Health Care Act will play out in Calif (avail in Oct), I am reading and talking to the medical community here, and 2 things- I know what's going on in the US is crap, and it appears they have fine medical treatment here...and I can afford it!!

Lovin it in RP!
Check into the Medical treatment in Hermosillo and you will never use the USA system again. Pay at the pump is always better than prepay anything.
