Hope this link works as interesting information on Gov. Padres' visit yesterday. Maybe Rosie and Russ can fill in some details

Convention Center funds are being released for 2nd phase.
Flights from Vegas are now scheduled for March - 3 times a week (our Vegas kids are in line to buy tickets lol). I would guess this presumes they have achieved the funding needed - or maybe that is why the delay from February?
Home Cruise Port, which has backing from both Federal & State level, is suppose to start during the 1st quarter. Does the fact that it comes from the Gov. have any more chance of actually happening during the first quarter? I hope so as have been holding breathe since 2010
He also mentioned a public beach according to the article.
