Why would I delete it? Geez, youse guys...

If you had been paying attention, Joe, you'd know that I've been preaching this for the better part of a year now after nearly having my F-250 jacked and several others that were, in fact, stolen. Most likely for the exact purpose described in this article.

Hey Joe, how are you doing? I don't remember you giving us a update when you popped back up for a short visit a few months ago, but it sound like you're doing fine.

Yes Stuart, thats why I put it on. Especially because it described this "season" apparently running in the month of October that drives the need for more trucks. I thought it was relevant because it shows a direct correlation to the type of truck that has been stolen in RP. Anyways, just thought it was interesting and relevant, decided to share for the benefit of the reader. Also, Stuart I havent been on as much and wasnt sure if the article was relevant enough to be a "General" thread. Thought it was going to get the boot, lawl... Kenny, Im doing pretty good. Everyday is a little bit of a struggle in some way but just trying to make this happen one day at a time. Unfortunately, my insurance caps you at a certain number of visits per calendar year. Right now I can move both of my legs, my left leg is stronger because I never really lost movement in the left leg only shortly between the accident in RP and surgery. My right leg is starting to get stronger, almost strong enough to put weight on but for the meanwhile I have a full leg brace with an automatic hinge at the knee so when you step in breaks and when you plant the leg it locks. The leg brace allows me to use a walker and Im just trying to walk more and more everyday. I still cant move my feet yet but the swelling or spinal shock can last a year so Im just trying to stay positive about it happening. My physical therapist did an evaluation at the end of the therapy last week and said that there is trace muscle movement, which is pretty much what I had in my right leg after surgery and the right leg is doing well so I hope that means something. I did get to RP Labor Day weekend but it wasnt the same. Its hard to take going to RP and not being able to do much. Most of all not being able to fish, damn it sucked! I did bring my rod and some gear in hopes of doing some kayak fishing. I waited till Sunday to go because I had to please the wifey lawl, anyways it couldnt have worked out worse, lawl. Sorry to say, (disclaimer) but Im a condo rat, so anyways the kayak was right down in front of Bella Sirena so my buddy and I went down to the beach to rent this Hobie Mirage Fishing Kayak. Its just so hard to do this now but he basically carried me down to the kayak and then we got in but it was so incredibly windy that it was like 6 foot swells. Long story shorter, we got fliped over trying to get off the beach and then when we did get out my buddy who isnt much of an ocean or fishing kind of guy got sea sick and leaned over to puke, tipped the kayak, lost my rod and some other little things and we're out there a ways just bobbing with no life jackets! We managed to get it back over and back in, but from drifting so hard we were practically all the way down by the reef. We paddled back against a head wind, got back to Bella Sirena and we were so beat that we ended up sleeping the rest of the afternoon, lawl. So needless to say it didnt go so well and that was kinda the trip for me. We did however receive some excellent hospitality from my main man in RP, Jose @ the BOOBAR, shoutout! I've now started to think otherwise about going to RP because everything was just so hard which is sad because I love RP. I've only been to RP once in the last 5 months which I probably havent done since 2005! Hey Kenny, I was real jealous when I saw those pics of the corvina you guys caught down the coast, damn I wanted to get one of those this summer!!!!!!!

Oh no you don't! It's going to get better, and as long as you can get down to the water, you can fish; and as long as you have friends like your buddy, and a family that supports you, it's going to be OK.... It kinda sounds like when Don and I launched his inflatable on a rough day down at Santo Tomas, except we didn't have to get dumped to get wet or swim, we did that right in the boat..LOL There were 31/2 to 4 foot foot waves, not swells, and when we were finally heading out under power, and in the right direction, we hit one head on that sent all our tackle box's and such that same distance, but straight up. Luckily, or maybe amazingly, it all came back down into the boat.
You and I still have a little fishin to do. We missed our connection once, but we'll get er yet.
