I moved the forum to another server yesterday and changed the domain to .com

It should be better now.

I was at the Tucson home show this week and a group of Realtor types had a Rocky Point booth.A guy at the both (another customer) told me he had heard a real estate outfit was interested in buying the forum.I told him the past history of Steve destroying the last forum and that if they turned it into a "happy news' type discussion on all things good in RP it wouldn't play well. The guy sneered and said something about money talks..... so any truth to this rumor....you guys realize all our eggs are in one basket...again!

I was fooling around on this thing (computer) and found a site where it estimated the worth of web sites, and this one was listed with it's estimated value. When I read that Tyler had changed to .com from .net I wondered if it increased it value.

Don't get me wrong...i don't care if Tyler makes a panga full of money on this thing (he'd most likely buy a pigeon coop! the peasant)...it just might be wise for people to have a place to meet up if the "event' occurs .

How about Facebook?.....I set up a "fans" page....just in case.....Rocky Point Talk....Ladyjeeper is an admin (Chari....email is coming to you later today)....again, this is just a "placeholder".....

That is a good idea Joe (did I really say that?) It would keep a potential buyer from changing the nature of the forum if he or she knew ahead of time people could easily move in mass it any funny business was attempted

I have no desire, or the time, to try to run a Forum or website.....in case someone thinks that is my intent.....I was around on the "previous" forum....that went kaput!

So that is JUST A PLACEHOLDER.....in case....that way we would at least be able to get/stay in touch....there are several of the members on here that are also on FB....

Oh no, since server and URL was changed, I can no longer access through work computers. It's blocked out as "Restricted- Webmail".

Hey Tyler...why isn't the attachment feature (photos, etc.) working the same way??? They don't show up inline....just file names that you have to click on....
