My yellow jet ski is turbo charged and nitro fueled too LOL Well it seems monkey's pictures are easier to find then Cats on a jet ski so I had to take what I could find... Wow the forum got real quite in last few days... I guess we can argue about monkey's and Cats on jet ski's :cruisin:
Tom my "Monkey on a Jet Sk"i avatar can beat that yellow piece of crap yours is driving any day

Picture it... you are on a pristine strip of the Green River with the rest of the Insitutes group http://www.womenswilderness.org/locations/green-river-utah
Monkey on a Super jetski comes blazing by...would it be wrong to start a drum circle and chant for his death?
Jerry.......do you still have a "hardon" for jetskis because you've had a few disturb the peace and serenity you experience down at Santo Tomas.....we all know that you walk, or ride your bicycle, down to the beach from your home in Santo Tomas...and not your loud polluting atv.....and how about those pangas from the local fishermen....I'm sure they all run the most efficient, quiet outboards out there :moon:....

I've heard most of the arguments against jetskis for years....most of the arguments are elitist in nature or responding to some idiots and their actions. Have you been on the AZ lakes on the weekends....with bass boats zipping around, or the idiots with their twin 500 hp rockets after they've been out all day drinking in the coves?

Not everyone has the time to take a 7-10 day canoe trip down the river...and many are not physically capable of doing so either.....try paddling up to Hoover Dam with the current that runs down from it.....I think it runs somewhere around 6 mph.....

Those pictures are of Jetski Brian, a well-known fisherman on the East Coast. Fishes mostly the Chesapeake Bay area. Very awesome set up. His website is here.

Hey I just sort of look at all this gas powered crap as evil...sometimes it's a necessary evil to get you positioned where you need to be when human power won't cut it.Make no mistake when you see 12 atv's in front of a beach villa all those kids will end up the weaker for it.If you don't develop core strength early in life from hard physical exercise you never do.As an old fart I need the atv to haul gear but I'd take a ride on the bike over it any day

Yeah....that setup is over the top....I have a smaller setup that holds a small cooler that came out about 7-8 years back, and also had attachments you could order to hold rods, etc.....great for all day touring....to hold some food and frinks....

Jerry....I'll accept that as an apology.....that's about the closest I could ever expect!!!:-D

I have to agree about the kids and the gas powered toys.....when I used to camp at Playa Bonita, you saw these kids riding the atv's all day....going around and around....hardly ever went in the water....

However...give a jetski a try sometime...riding one in the Penasco waters can give you more of a workout than downhill skiing for a couple of hours!!! Your legs and arms are mush when you get off! And a standup is probably triple the workout (Submarine...you remember him?) could comment on that!
