First timer to Rocky Point next week and have questions for the veterans

Hi Everyone,

We will be camping at the The Reef RV park on Sandy Beach over Labor Day and I wanted to find out if the restaurant and bar are still open on that property? Also ,if anyone has any updated info, reviews or just stuff we should know about this campground it would be much appreciated. We could only find info from 2010 on google, but it was very limited and not very positive.

You will love Wrecked at the Reef next door if you like cantinas. The food there is fantastic, I especially like fish and chips. The Mare Blu restaurant can be great or not so but it is always fun. Where you are staying is a great place dont forget to visit JJ's Cantina in Cholla Bay! PM me if you need anything else

Make sure you take a tour in the Russ Buss. Russ will show you all the good restaurants, bars and taco stands and the Malecon for shopping....The tequila factory, too!

Chari is correct.. Dont try to bring in 25 it is a hassle.. Where you are staying is great but What nobody said is it is very loud but only till about 2 am

If they're staying towards the end of the park (Reef RV), they may not hear too much of the noise from Wrecked at the Reef......especially if there is some good wave action.....

Does the Reef RV Park have wifi?????

Verizon rep confirmed their service will not work and the blogs I have been reading say AT&T will no longer work either. Does anyone have any recent experience with AT&T?

I just used my AT&T iPhone in Rocky Point on August 3-5. Worked fine. Just be sure that your data roaming is turned off before you cross the border if you're using an AT&T phone. You don't want to get stuck with a ton of charges.

Yes works just fine switch to att and you can make all the calls and texts you want for an extra 10 bucks. dump your Verizon...

It works everywhere, when we went to Spain last year it worked just great
