Day Trip-Whole Lotta cars

Took a day trip to Penasco, arrived at 12:30- temperature was 91 and breezy- nice on the beach, didn't take the temperature there but it felt cooler. Gas was 9.01 pesos/liter or $2.83 if you get 12 pesos/dollar. Don't want to get in an argument, but there were a lot of cars coming down at 12:30- mostly AZ cars but some Texas until you got to the Coastal Highway, where there were several California cars turning toward town. On the way home there were more cars coming, I was surprised because it is August and 2:30 pm , so I started counting- 186 cars coming to Penasco starting from the Caborca turn to just outside Sonoyta, and that didn't count the Bimbo or Sabritas heading to Penasco. Hope it's a good weekend.

Mel and I had plans to meet at the BooBar, but it was closed so we had dinner and beers at Flavio's. The place was packed again. Mel said that earlier in the week she and her hubby had to wait for a table. It was good to see so many people in town, and yes...they were spending money.
