Coming Soon... No more Fiesta on Sandy Beach... what seemed to be a lack of effort by the owner and many aborted plans to tow it off the beach during the highest tides, the shipwrecked Fiesta Cruiser is being disassembled where it rests after it had run aground on Sandy Beach, October 25, 2011...

Sorry about the shakey video near the end... it was a bit windy and I was zoomed in quite a bit and didn't have a tripod, the video was shot from the light tower at the south side entrance to the port at the end of the free parking...

Did you load it on YouTube yet? If so, please post a link, versus the imbedded video, because depending on what format one uses to view this site, such as an iPad, it will just post it as a blank space. Thanks!

Did they float it off the beach yesterday at high tide? Jan 24 was the day we were told that they were going to attempt it.

While I was down over the weekend we did get a chance to see the "new" Fiesta cruiser they pulled into port.

I haven't been down that way to see if they did remove it... "Wrecked at the Reef" should take it over and turn it into a bar if they haven't removed it.... they could call it "Wrecked Sandy Beach"...
