An AMAZING sight.

Was sitting in the Malecon, outside, upstairs at the new joint, Beach Bum, with a buddie drinking a beer the other night. Well after dark O'clock. The moon was up quite a bit off the horizon and there were several wide white bands horizontal across the sky between the moon and earth. The white looked like clouds or maybe fog. Impossible to tell where the horizon actually was but I noticed a band of sparkles between the moon and the earth in those two dark bands betweent the white. Dim at first but creating a tube with my hands to eliminate the effect of ambient light brought the spakles to life. It looked like the final event of a large fireworks display. A continuous riot of sharp white lights dancing around in a failry narrow band, all directly under the moon. I was awestruck and confused. What was that? Buddie Kelly confirmed he saw them. We watched for a bit and it seemed obvious that the angles must have been perfect to reflect the moonlight off the dancing waves of the sea and cast the sparkles directly to our perch above the street. I think this was confirmed as I watched and the sparkles faded and disappeared as the moon moved slowly across the horizon. A truely amazing sight for me. I might never see it again but I'm gonna watch for it now !!

Damn Reberto, I thought you gave that stuff up. What kind of beer was that, I got to get me some of it.

We had the meteorites last Friday but it was too cloudy here to see them.
