This is off their website. I'm not sure how fully open they will be, but they are making progress:

Here are some pics of the Grand Mayan. The Lazy River is not open as of a couple of weeks ago, but should be soon. Yes, they have several rooms to open. I met someone staying from Chicago, and they loved the beach. Here are some pics I found of the Grand Mayan that turned out better than mine! : http://pittle.smugmug.com/Timeshare/Puerto-Penasco-March-2015/i-dLXnCs3

I own at Las Palomas & am extremely pleased to see the Mayan has added another phase clearly demonstrating Penasco's economic comeback, diversity, and just overall positive outlook for everyone's future connected in any way to Penasco. What an awesome message this sends to investors, tourists, cruise line company's chomping at the bit, & future retirees contemplating Penasco as their final resting place for the golden years. What a good dose of great news!!!

On Red Week you can rent 7 nights there 2/2 for $900 to $1000. Not the new ones but that is still a pretty good price. This means the time share people will be all over the Old Port.

Mexico-based Grupo Vidanta, one of the largest and most-decorated developers of luxury resorts and tourism infrastructure in Latin America, announced at a recent press conference their contribution to the filming of Spectre, the next installment of the internationally popular James Bond franchise. The film's opening scene will be set in Mexico. In conjunction with Interjet Airlines and the Mexico Tourism Board, Grupo Vidanta, which was founded by Mexican resort mogul Daniel Chavez Moran, works to attract premier tourism projects such as the Bond film to the Mexican economy, and noted that the film's production will create hundreds of new jobs locally.

The opening scene will be Day of the Dead in Mexico City.
