Where to Leave Firearms

Anyone know where on the US side I can leave a couple of firearms before entering Mexico through Lukeville? I have heard that there is a place in either Ajo or Why.

There's a gun shop that has lockers on the right hand side of the main drag in Ajo.

I believe the Travel Store in Why use to store guns for a couple bucks a day.

Why even bring them to begin with? If you know you can't/shouldn't cross with them, why not just leave them at home?

I'll give u a good reason why... A couple of years ago, my wife and were outside of Sells, heading to rocky point. We came around the corner to find a pickup truck blocking the road. They were throwing big burlap bags of pot out of the back. We only had ourselves and the nearest help was miles away. Lucky, they were just as scared of us as we were of them. They floored it in opposite direction, but not before leaving a couple of mules behind to carry the pot thru the desert.

Thanksgiving car clean out to make sure you are not packing is a must...everything out...a shotgun shell can cost you 5 k.
