Keeping the fingers crossed that Mexico, AZ and California get some of this storm.
Hopefully we get 2 inches over the 3-4 days we're likely to get storms from this.
That way it's just a good soaking without the flash floods.
How is the weather from Hurricane Norbert today?
Thinking about coming down for a couple of days. I really want to see the lightning show on the water and some good rain in RP.
I decided to come down, so far the rain is to the east of town with nothing in Cholla but stickiness.
Humidity is 75% but at least it's 10 degrees cooler than last weekend.

No slow rain over 2 days here in Phoenix. Rained hard all night. Everything is flooded. Will be known as the Great Phoenix Flood of '14. Remind me to buy an ark.
Kissed the ground when I got off I10 at Kolb without getting killed....then the fun began....just unreal amount of rain....think lots of people may have been flooded.....blue recycle bins floating all over the place
After Baja, I guess Tropical/Hurricane Norbert most it's rain for the Phx metro area.
Looked like the rain in RP on Sunday stopped moving west at Cholla/Rodeo drive/Mall.
As I left Cholla at 11AM today there were some big ugly dark clouds forming overhead and to the southeast.
Got some sprinkles as I loaded up, the humidity was tough but then I get back to Phx and it's almost as bad.
Come-on October.:)
Clear skies today over Penasco. Some cloud buildup way off on the eastern horizon. Broke down and washed the van :(:(
The weather has definately started to cool. Evenings are plesant. Kids are out playing soccer in the street. Humidity is down to tolerable levels in the day and the sun is scorching hot.
Humidity down to a tolerable level and starting to cool down. Now that's a good thing, :) It was pretty brutal the last 2 weekends.
When I was at Tacos Poblanos on Sam Ocana on Sunday, the people working in there were very uncomfortable with the heat and humidity.
They all laughed when I said in 2 weeks it will be cooler.
Roberto, I hope you are correct. But the last 2 years I was down in RP the last weekend in Sept and it was still hot and humid.
Not like the last 2 weeks, though.
Hopefully it will cool down sooner, since this summer in AZ was actually pretty mild compared to the last 5 years of summers.
Seems like Oct. 10-15th is when it finally gets nice and the A/C goes off, in RP.
Here in Phx. Halloween is when you can finally turn off the A/C.
heading down Friday. I hope it's not too bad humidity wise. BTW how are the streets? Was there much flooding down there? i'm debating on which vehicle I should drive.

A/C.
Did not intend to say the temps are perfect right now. I think when you are here 24/7 you notice a gradual cooling that's what I am referring to, and yes October is usually perfect weather.

Only some of the low lying areas (pot holes) had some water standing.
Roberto, No problem with the temps comment, Agreed, I'm sure if I was there 24/7 I would notice even a little shift in the temps and humidity.
I see it here when I walk out in the morning, amazing that 2 degrees cooler can be noticed.
As you said Perfect weather=October. :)
