I have a Mexican Bank account with alot of peso in it. It is my rental income and I woulld like to bring it back to the US. My bank here in Green Valley charges big fees to conver to dollars. I always get great answer here to my questions. There has got to be a better way. What about that new bank that has been talked about here? And where is it?
I went to Chase and they told me the fees for a wire transfer are very high. I was think of taking it out the peso and going to the new bank that I read about here and changing it to dollars. The worst part is, this is the best rental season we have had in a long time. After pay HOA and all the bills, I have never had to worry about having more money left over that I could spend in a weekend. Kind of good bad news.
My money will be in cash so I would have to get a debit card and do it that way. Right? I have a paypal account. I am going to wrok on this. You guys always come up with solutions.

What bank is it and do you have a debit card for it. For example, Bancomer is Compass in the US you can withdraw from the ATM in the US in Dollars
We use xoom.com to transfer money from US bank to Mex bank. (I read about it on this forum.) I have not used it in the other direction. They charge $5 and exchange rate is fair but not great.
Paypal sounds interesting. Can you link it to a US bank & Mex bank at the same time?
New bank is CI Banco on Calle Trece, just past the RR tracks on the left hand side (if you're coming from Benito Juarez.) Don't know much about them except the ATM fee is $17.40 pesos.
