The weather couldn't be more perfect - only wish the sea was warm enough to swim in. Successfully changed the name on the electric account in less than 15 minutes, made it to the Bodega and back without getting stuck in a giant pothole, and came home and saw a pod of about 20 dolphins swimming by my balcony!!!!!
It was a gorgeous day, and I'm hoping for a repeat today! Booked for tomorrow on the EcoFun boat, hopefully one last whale sighting for the season and more dolphins. Feeling sentimental: it's an understatement to say how grateful I am to be here. There is beauty every where I look. The desert on one side and the beach and sea on the other. I honestly love RP (warts and all) and can't wait to make this my full time home.
OH YES!!! What a wonderful day. We went out with Oscar on the Tempo. You will never find a better experience. Not the out and back in trip with EchoFun. (They do dinner trip on same day, but not Oscar). We say gray wales (only showing back side), humpback wales (with the tale wave), and turned aside on the way back to see a fin whale and her 10-12 foot calf). She stuck around for a really great show.

Oscar is The Whale Whisperer!!!! I'm bummed that he was full for the weekend, but we'll give EcoFun a try and see how it goes. Hopefully they'll just follow Oscar's boat!
We had them down at Santo Tomas...our fishermen took people out in the panga after taking Joe and Matt fishing...25 bucks for 3 of us....nice to see whales from a small boat and the hard working fishermen making some easy money.
