A whale of a tail!

Russ great pics....we were out on our boat today and I think we saw those same or similar whales ( so amazing and huge when you see them and hear them up close ).. we also ran into the largest pod of dolphin that I have ever seen down here ( prob 300 to 400 dolphin snacking on a massive school of fish ) . I took some gopro footage above and below the water...the school of fish stayed right below our boat to stop the air assault by the birds but didn't slow down the dolphins...you can actually hear the dolphins communicating ( clicks etc ) w/ both the above water footage and especially w/ the gopro underwater......will post on youtube soon.......

I am super easy to find...........I am out o f town at the beg of Feb with a group of 16 to Baja but should be back by 14th or so

We saw the whales we missed the dolphins I would love to see the video! Our group of 84 locals LOVED the day so much..........what a blessing to be part of this !

Last year I circled a group of weeks on the 2014 calendar (January-February) to remind me when whales are due in Rocky Point. They're on time!
