A friend sent me a letter an owner at Las Paomas posted on their chatroom. It is a good letter. I wish someone would get him to post the letter here, at Rocky Point 360, and Rocky Point Times.
I haven't read the letter but I can only assume it writes simething like this; Rocky point is very safe, the shooting is between military and drug gangs and have nothing to do with tourism. No american has been hurt so far. Majority of the shooting is done near the tourist resorts but you are totally safe because shooting is done from 3am to 7am when all the tourists are sleeping in the concrete rooms, so no bullets will hurt you, it is totally safe. Military is here to protect us. If there is gun battle going on and wakes you up, just grab your camera, there is no were else in the world were you can enjoy the beach and watch the live gun battle, except maybe gaza strip or beirut. Grab your kids and lets enjoy sandy beach.
