This past weekend (9/20-9/22) you could really feel the humidity lifting and dry air took over. Friday morning the low was 71 degrees. By Saturday, it was windy and the low was 82- the wind from the south. Sunday morning, it was even warmer and more humid. But by Sunday afternoon, the humidity completely cleared out and it was perfect. We went to the new taqueria across from Combo Taco- El Torito. Good Angus beef, and a lot of it, mesquite smoked tacos- $1.30 (160 pesos). The owner's cousin served us and has opened El Pescadito, a fish taqueria, on Benito Juarez just north of Lucas on the same side of the street. We're going to try that next visit. He said he is serving grilled fish, shrimp, etc. tacos. Went to Blue Marlin- fantastic shrimp quesadilla and shrimp tacos- you've got to try their Cilantro Sauce! The sea was full of Sargent Majors, and pelicans are back as well. What are you waiting for??
I work in Nogales, Mexico and have been going to Pescadito here for over a year. It is awesome, and is a tribute to the motto: "find one thing to do, and do it well." They just do shrimp, fish, and marlin, batter it, and give you tons of fresh veggies & salsas. For 26 pesos apiece, you get a double corn tortilla filled with the seafood item you want, and then you add all the fresh toppings. I'm a big guy and 2 tacos is more than enough to fill me up for about 5 bucks total. And on Tuesdays, I believe it drops to 21 or 22 pesos! Strongly recommended...

I'm sold! I'm obviously assuming both respective locations are affiliated?
The weather must be nice in RP right now. I had to go to Tucson, then to Chino Valley and will be back tomorrow, played golf in Prescott yesterday and froze.....All I brought was shorts and the wind was blowing and I missed my Penasco very much!
Two military planes flew by at ground level...missed the shot but harvest season is on. this means it is good time to avoid beach turn offs in the middle of nowhere...men with guns do not want to see us
