Quatro de Julio - weather and alcohol

Hi all!
We are headed down for the 4th of July holiday and weekend. Any forecasts on the weather? We are getting whacked this weekend in Scottsdale but wunderground shows the temperature dropping after a spike this weekend. I'm hoping that means beautiful conditions, big fish, love and happiness......

We have also seen posts on upcoming election. What are the "dry" days? We always like to be prepared ;-)

Expect it to be warm and humid. The evenings and nights cool off some but recently hot and humid most of the night. Using AC at night 50% of the time now. No problem with alcohol, drink in or take out. Lots of options.

The city is dry when there are elections. This year is a non-election year for Sonora, so it's a non-issue.
