Agreed...could very well have just done 30mins. - and next time I will. 60 mins. was too exhausting.
When the water between JJ's and Black Mtn is at really high tide, it is fun to cruise in the estuary. And if the water is really calm I can stay out 45 mins at a time.
When it is rough 15-20 minutes max, then park it, get a refreshment sit in my shaded beach chair and watch others hurt themselves.
I just wish when I see the water is like glass it would stay that way for me, but by the time I finally launch 2 hours later the wind is starting to pickup and the waves start.
Since I own a couple of ski's it is on my schedule anyway.
I will be in town on business and if I see it is calm I call my wife and say "get ready we have a jetski day" by the time I get home she is ready to go! and that is one more reason I love living here.
