City Water

We use bottled water for cooking, drinking, washing veggies, etc. Just curious if anyone uses the city water for cooking?

I use it in soups! All I use is a paper filter on my water supply.

We used to not use it for anything - now we brush our teeth with it, wash veggies with it. We use bottled for coffee and for drinking. Have not had any problems (touch wood!!)

We are at Bella Sirena and they have a filtration system, plus we have an RO system as well so not only cook with it but drink it. Knock on wood, no problems. We drink the water at the restaurants as well - unless it looks like a place where you wouldn't want to - but then I probably wouldn't want to eat there either :)

The only problem w/RP water is it has too much flouride, hence the brown teeth. Children need to be careful but not adults

Yes you can tell the people that grew up in Penasco that could not afford purified water often by the brown teeth. The Flouride also makes the water extremely corrosive to metal.

I use it for everything but drinking it by itself, it tastes as bad as the water in Tucson!! actually Tucson water does taste worst, it has more chlorine taste than RP water
