Hi all,
For anyone not offended by the name (like my Mom is) could you please become a fan of the Camel Toe Cantina on Facebook? We shamefully only have 4 fans (including myself and my brother) and I can't figure out how to invite people. My computer skills are kind of limited. I plan on also putting updates and photos on there. It's a work in progress. Poco a poco verdad? Thanks, Jim

OK, I found your group AND you on Facebook, Jim!

FYI, previously you said you were on there under the name RockyPointJim, but it's actually your first and last name. Maybe you were mixing that up with your MySpace. (I'm referring to the the "Let's Network, Penasco" thread.)

Jim, FB is exponential. Until you have friends on it, it is really difficult to get more. But once you get the ball rolling it takes care of itself.

You know Jim, I utilized FB's ads - those little buggers on the right side of the screen very effectively with my volleyball tournament. Th egreat thung is you set the max you spend each day - I set mine at $20. You only get charged like .15 cents or so per click - and only if someone clicks on it. Many people see it but don't click, and that is essentially free advertising in that instnce. But if they do click your logo/ad, you direct that to another FB page you construct all about Toe, which in turn can include a link to a website when you have one.
The other great thing is you can target who sees them very specifically - as in people who have keywords in their FB profiles anywhere about "beach, Mexico, Rocky Point, bars, drinks, fun" whatever you want - you can target your ad to be seen by as broad or specific a group as you desire.
Nice way to budget advertising; I liked it.

How about providing a link here for your page???? Now wouldn't that make things easier for all?

Here it is:

Or just search "Camel Toe Cantina" when you're on Facebook.

OH, and to invite others, just join the group, then at the top of the page is an option below the profile pic on the left that says "suggest to friends." Click on that, then your entire friends list will pop up and you can invite everyone on your personal Facebook friends list or just select friends.

Now you're up to 36, Jim.

I am a fan! I will drop by this weekend too!

Jim, are you open on Sunday nights? I might not be able to make it on Friday as I will be arriving around 5 and usually have some sort of problem or the other upon opening up the trailer (stuck locks, no water, no electricity, defrosted refrigerator, etc.) and I will be in Santo Tomas on Sat. night. I'm really looking forward to contributing to your new endeavor! Please tell me you have Pacifico!:D

See you soon,

Chari
Jim
Thanks Chari,
7 days a week from noon til 3:00 AM. (although I am too old for the night shift- I usually head for the casa around 6 or 7). I can't thank all you guys and Tyler enough for the support. I have heard many times how tonto I am to open a bar in these times. I just go with how I feel, you know?
Jim
Oh Sorry, no Pacifico. We only carry Tecate endorsed stuff. (we actually operate under their license) Tecate/Light, XX/Light, Indio Dark, Sol, Coors/Light. I don't think I forgot any but don't quote me. I always drank Bud Light but the beers are so cold that I don't mind a Tecate Light. I guess that I will adapt and overcome. It is Mexico afterall.
GringoZona
Isn't Bohemia part of the Tecate umbrella? I figured as such from this info:

Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma Brewery (Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma) is a major brewery based in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, founded in 1890. It is a subsidiary of FEMSA, the largest beverage company in Mexico.

The company operates brewing plants in Monterrey, Tecate, Navojoa, Guadalajara, Toluca, Orizaba and in 2010 one in Chihuahua, producing the Dos Equis, Sol, Bohemia, Superior, Carta Blanca, Noche Buena, Casta and Tecate brands among others. It has an annual production of 6.6 million hectoliters (5.6 million US barrels) .

Got that here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tecate_(beer)#Tecate_beer
