Leigh....the last time I tried to find one, AJ's carried it.....that was a couple years ago....even Amazon says they're not in stock!!! I guess no one cleans/deveins their own shrimp anymore????

I used to buy that one in Rocky Point but I never could find them in the states. I must have purchased six different kinds here but none of them worked as good as the little plastic ones. I finally found them at a restaurant supply company on line. I bought a dozen of them for $15. If the other source doesn't work out, let me know and I'll give you the link to the restaurant supply.

A little off topic but....I noticed a new store orpening on Benito Juarez called The Kitchen Shop. Yes the name is in english. It's in the multi story building on the left side, just passed Lucas Chicken going out of town.
There used to be a place at the indoor swap market at I-17 and Camelback in Phoenix that sold all sorts of kitchen stuff.....last time in there, the guy was gone....

I have bought them at Vons in California, so you could probably try Safeway in AZ.
I just saw Leo and Gary at Playa de Oro RV Park and they have a bunch of these plastic shrimp cleaners that they would love to sell. He said 3.00 each takes them!
Probably trying to unload the dozen they bought online for $15 :rofl:
