Does your development restrict the number of people permitted in a rental condo? If so any details? Thanks.

Sonoran Sea. I have control over how many I allow and I base it on the number of beds. I set the max number of adults and kids. Since each person needs a wrist band when they check in each person in the group gets a band. When I am there I can have as many as I want and if I need additional owner bands I can get them.

I am wondering whether the HOA or management sets a limit on the number of renters in a unit.

At the Sea the owners do. For an example in one of the bedrooms I have 2 large bunk beds and in the front room I have a queen sleeper couch, more beds equals more renters. If a 1 bedroom only has one bed then 2 adults, if they had a sleeper couch then they could say 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids or maybe they only want adults only and no kids, their choice. More people equals more wear and tear but it increases the demand for the unit which equals more rental days, hopefully.

our HOA restricts maximum renters to 8, altho most owners restrict them to 6. these are 2 bdrm. units
