good to see film actors- Michael Pena, America Ferrera and Rosario Dawson at Las Palomas. they are in town for the cesar chavez movie.

We need to have some american newspaper talk about it instead of a ****** forum!!

Maybe Dryheat can "pretend" to be drunk and pick a fight with Rosario Dawson.A photographer can be in the area to film her taking him out (fancy wrasslin skills and all) it would make people Magazine.

I once read that quite a few movies have been filmed in san carlos. A few years ago they were filimg at sonoran spa for a movie.

Yes, parts of Babel were filmed in Penasco and a few American residents here were given bit parts. Tina Elliot played an immigration official. There were others, but that's the only one I can recall.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were in Penasco with the filming of Babel. They're autographed picture is in El Capitan.

While surfing the web, rather than doing work, I found this movie filmed in Penasco in 2008/2009: "In the Blink of an Eye" (I don't remember it being discussed previously). Apparently it's a religious apocalyptic movie, and we all know the Mayans say 2012 is it, so......... :

Dumb,weird plot. In the end, realized this is telling religious message. Really lame. Although the scenery was good, the movie just keeps repeating scenes with different twists (dream sequences), so you just keep seeing the same scenery over and over again. Waste of my time.
