Fiddler on the Beach... some fiddler crabs we saw out at La Pinta this morning... sorry for the shaking camera I had to Zoom In pretty much to see them...
Thanks Russ... it was kind off tuff getting a close up of them because the ran away as you approached them... so I had to use a lot of Zoom and of course it intensifies any movement when you're using the Digital Zoom, and I didn't have my tripod with me...
These Fiddler Crabs were something else to watch... all they did was try to attack one another... if one ran down a hole another would go after it with that big claw...
Interesting fact... Did you know there are left handed (or I should say left clawed) and right handed or clawed Fiddler Crabs..? If a Fiddler Crab loses it large claw in a battle, the opposite claw will grow larger and the now missing claw will re-grow but it will be the smaller of the two...
