My weather station at my beach house in Encanto had recorded 1.81 inches of rain from the time the storm began Sat. night to when I left for Phoenix at about 9:30 AM Sunday morning. I was up a good portion of the night as a river of water was flowing down my courtyard and at times heading through under the front door. Roads out were in bad shape and flooded. So glad I had my 4x4 Pathfinder. Highways had some flooding in areas, but passable.

As they say on teh interwebz: PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN! Seriously, though, where are all the photos from this weekend? Biggest rainstorm in years plus a giant biker rally, and we've only got a dozen or so photos posted so far. I suppose most on Monday are in a going through a sleep/recovery/shame mode, so some slacking is expected. Those of us unfortunate enough to have to work this weekend wanna' live vicariously through your lenses. Thanks!

James... I've got tons of video from the weekend... still trying to sort it all out as to what can and what can not be shared or posted... this was truly a fantastic weekend...

Casa Weez ended up showing 1.58 inches. Sure glad I put that drive way drain in years ago after that last huge storm. 4" of standing water everywhere. Allmost flooded the house. There was no road left coming in all water. Playa Encanto was an island for a few days.

Mark...everyone involved should know by now that what happens in Mexico DOES NOT stay in Mexico!!!

Joe it all can't stay in Mexico because we're running out of room to store it... so please, just like on the beach... if you bring it, take it back with ya...

Here are a couple of photos leaving town - taken on the "short cut" from Las Conchas to Blvd. Juarez (don't remember name of street) - there was a police truck pushing another vehicle through the water

Here is a couple of pictures from Sunday morning. It went from raining hard, to clearing on the horizon, to sunshine and my daughter boogie boarding by mid-afternoon!
