How many dolars worth of goods import?

I may be buying a Split unit AC down there and am wondering about import fees.
Do they combine value to the two uf us for one item?
I think the price of the AC is about $ 400.00

Buying in Mexico and importing to the USA?

If you declare it and say nothing about it they will ask you if it's for personal use and it is. So you shouldn't have any problems. You declared it so they can only tax
you not fine you! Limit is over $750 or so, sure someone will jump on my hinee and correct me, but this is from personal experience.
