Oh what a wonderful weekend it was. The water was clear and the surface was like glass with a few ripples that glimered in the sunlight. Almost no swells and what there were were only a few inches high. Just high enough to create a quiet splashing sound. The water was cool and refreshing as you went in. And so many brightly colored little fish swiming around your feet.
The privelage of seeing old friends again and having Prime Rib at Bryans was wonderful.
Sitting at the bar at The Pit, looking over the water and having an ice cold Indio beer is as good as it gets.
I also did a little pontoon fishing off of PDO and had a great time catching nice sized Trigere and Rock Bass. I also caught a nunler of baby, I think, grouper. Kind of a dark brown red color with bright blue speckles.
I am back less than a day and I long to be back down there. I know it is where I belong.
Friday nights, it's 10 bucks, all you can eat but you won't need seconds, I guarantee you. When it's gone, it's gone so go at 6 and put your order in and they bring it out at 7.
Ever friday at 7:00 BUT YOU HAVE TO BE THERE AT 6:00 TO ORDER IT OR THEY WILL BE OUT. Order when you first get there.
Great quality and flavor with salad, baked potato and vegie. $ 10.00
Enjoy
We get the same thing over at the Sonoran Grille. (sister restruant to Max's, Bryans, and Agave grille) Best part is if you sit outside you can see the water and get that nice cool breeze this time of year.

Okay - where is the Sonoran Grill? As you can gather DH doesn't take me out to eat very often lol - do they serve the prime rib on a special night and time? Tks.
