Yikes as a ex= consumer of crappy Mexican pot,a big fan of crime movies and gangsters in general i pledge to no longer post about crime in mexico....don't shoot!
I dunno, they could have done that to anyone. Didn't really say what those victims posted and on what social media network, just a threat directed at those doing such. And who would be stupid enough to post their real identities?
Another effect from the criminal drug users in the US that fund all this mayhem. Every dollar used to support the drug violence in Mexico comes directly out of the pocket of a criminal US drug user.
If this problem (innocent people being shot/killed) were occurring in Africa caused by, say, diamonds, people throughout the US, including college campuses, would be protesting and boycotting diamonds- oh yeah, they are- blood diamonds. But since it's their drugs, no boycotting on college campuses is occurring- just a blind eye or blame the supplier, not the consumer.

Personally I think the newsfolk don't want to aknowledge their participation in this horrible tragedy because many of them are users plus it will piss off their friends and neighbors who are users. They really do not want the supply to dry up. Fact is they are criminals, why is this ignored? It's not as exciting as blaming a bunch of people from another country. If the users are not included in any solution the solution will fail.
Miramar, I agree completely with you. Actually, a former casual user college student brought this relationshop to me so clearly. She said when she was reading about all the violence and thought about her casual pot use and how the money she spent contributed to this tragedy she decided to quit. I said to myself, Duhhh, why didn't i think of it that way. From a systems theory perspective it is completely true. I'd love to see the US start a campaign based on this logic. It would not end the problem but it will help.

Hah, as if that stops hypocritical politicians from railing against, say, gay marriage, when they themselves get caught cheating on their wives with a male prostitute. As far as the drug war, it's more about the viewers. People want to place the blame elsewhere.
no doubt that , just like anything, it depends in the supply and demand, for years governments have been fighting the suppliers at a low rate of progress while where others governments fought and fight the demanders and big steps have been acomplished, granted there are ways and there are rules and ......but if the fight against the demand never starts or fights along side the fight against the suppliers then will be like this for ever!!! regardless of who did what to whome!! :ostrich:

Well, that first name sure is white, English/Welsh in origin, but what kind of name is Brice Heath Kousand? Weird. I wonder if they spelled the last name wrong.
